2025-2026 MTSC REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS

REGISTRATION - FUNDRAISING - VOLUNTEER SERVICE - MONTHLY DUES/FEES

ALL NEW SWIMMERS MUST FIRST COMPLETE A TRY-OUT WITH A COACH

Because we are not-for-profit, we rely annually on REGISTRATION, FUNDRAISING, and VOLUNTEER SERVICE, to meet our budget demands throughout the year. 

When you register for MTSC, you are committing to swim through July 31st, 2026. As with any organization that has an annual membership, you must pay for the entire year, regardless of time you may take off for vacations or summer breaks. There are no exceptions to this obligation unless a swimmer becomes incapacitated or moves out of the area. The annual REGISTRATION FEE is $180 per family. 

The FUNDRAISING FEE of $325 is also a per-family fee. This fee may be paid at the time of registration but is otherwise due March 31st.  Funds that have not been raised will be invoiced and charged with your April Dues payment. Please click on the Fundraising tab on the website to see the different ways to fundraise. We will also email about fundraising activities before the short course season is over. 

Every family is asked to work six VOLUNTEER SERVICE units ($25 per service unit) to assist with swim meets and other team functions. Most jobs will be listed on the job sign-in sheet with the team event and will be worth two (2) to four (4) units. When asking for dollar donations, $25 will equal one (1) unit. So as you can see, your time is valuable, and we cannot run meets or other team functions without you! Unfilled volunteer service units will be charged to your account with May dues.

MONTHLY DUES are charged monthly to your account unless you elect to pay for the year.   Dues is based on the program you sign up for and is due and payable on the 1st of each month, regardless of the swimmer's attendance. Refunds are not given for vacations or time off for other sports or activities.  Dues may only be placed on hold for medical reasons

Practice 2 days per week - $155 per month, charged on the 1st of each month.

Practice 3 days per week - $170 per month, charged on the 1st of each month.

Practice 4-6 days per week - $195 per month, charged on the 1st of each month.

USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION is an annual fee. This $88 fee is a requirement of USA Swimming and provides additional insurance for swimmers as well as a wealth of information for both swimmers and parents. MTSC will bulk register all existing USAS registered swimmers by December 31st and all new swimmers within 30 days of MTSC registration. 

Swim meet FEES  are charged to your account when meet registrations are sent to host clubs. Swim meet fees are set by the host team and are non-refundable. 

RESIGNATION from the team, prior to July 31st, requires payment in full for the remainder of the 25-26 contract plus any outstanding Fundraising or Volunteer Service units.
